You don’t need to open an editor, write Markdown by hand, and run git commit yourself.
Just connect GitHub to the AI, describe what you want in natural language, and the AI will read the repository, generate the posts, and push the changes.
This post was written using that exact workflow.
Preparation
- Have a GitHub repository (e.g.
myblog) - Connect your GitHub account in the AI chat interface
- Make sure the AI has permission to read and write the repo
Actual Workflow
1. Ask the AI to read the repository
Simply say:
Can you read the GitHub myblog repository?
The AI will automatically:
- Confirm your GitHub account
- Locate the repository
- List the file structure
- Read key files such as
hugo.tomland existing posts
2. Tell the AI what to write
For example:
Write the second post for me. Topic: How to use AI to update the blog, following your current workflow. Keep it simple and clear, in three languages.
3. AI generates and commits
The AI creates the files according to your repo structure:
content/zh/posts/...content/ja/posts/...content/en/posts/...
Then commits them all at once to the master branch.
After the push, Netlify or your CI will build and deploy automatically.
Tips
- The more natural your instructions, the closer the result matches your style
- You can request three languages, cover images, specific dates, etc.
- To edit an existing post, the flow is the same: let the AI read it first, then describe the changes
- If you want to review the content before committing, just ask
Summary
Connect GitHub → give natural-language instructions → AI reads the repo + writes the posts + commits.
You focus on the ideas. The AI handles the implementation.
